Having a local SIM card makes life much easier, you’ll need it for everything from banking apps to delivery services and transport passes.

Options for getting a Spanish number

    – Providers: Orange, Vodafone, Movistar, Yoigo, Lowi, Simyo, DigiMobil.

     

    – You can buy one at airports, phone shops, or supermarkets (FNAC, MediaMarkt, Carrefour).

  • MONTHLY PLANS

    (CONTRACT)

  • For longer stays (over 6 months).

     

    – Requires NIE or passport, Spanish bank account, and Spanish address (or accommodation address).

  • TIPS

  • – You can also use eSIMs like Airalo, Holafly, or Ubigi for the first days before buying a local card.

     

    – WhatsApp will still work with your home number if you prefer not to change it.
