ESDI’s history is deeply intertwined with business. The school was born out of industry’s need to integrate designers into production processes and was founded thanks to the support of over 90 companies. We believe in, and are committed to, a university-business partnership that fosters innovation and connects talent with real-world needs.
University-Business Collaborations
At ESDI, we strengthen the connection between universities and industry through multiple avenues of collaboration that enable organizations to innovate, develop talent, and create strategic projects. From customized training programs designed to meet the specific needs of each company to talent acquisition through our job placement service and internship agreements, we offer solutions to drive business growth through design.
Furthermore, we collaborate with companies on applied and research projects, support scholarship programs and fundraising initiatives that foster emerging talent, and offer our versatile spaces for training, events, and corporate meetings. Each collaboration is tailored to the specific needs of the organizations involved, with the goal of generating real impact and creating shared value between ESDI and the business community.

Business Commission
The ESDI Business Commission is a stable collaborative space comprised of four areas: fashion and textile design, interior design, industrial and product design, and graphic design, UX/UI, and digital design. Each group consists of leading professionals who contribute their expertise to adapt training content to current market needs and promote joint projects between the university and the industry.
