Facts about ESDI
The building itself has history
The ESDI campus is located in an emblematic building of Sabadell’s industrial heritage, the former Condicionament i Docks, a space historically linked to the textile industry and now transformed into a creative and innovative university environment. With over 12,000 m² on a single campus, ESDI offers a space where learning, experimentation, and academic life coexist without the need to communicate between sites, fostering interdisciplinary work and constant collaboration.
Specialized workshops, technology labs, audiovisual studios, and project classrooms coexist in the same space. This concentration of resources transforms the campus into a true creative ecosystem dedicated to design. Furthermore, ESDI is committed to sustainability, incorporating photovoltaic self-generation systems and promoting the responsible use of resources.
The annual Fashion Show is a big deal
Every year, ESDI hosts a Fashion Graduate Show, where final-year fashion students present their collections on a professional runway. It’s one of the most anticipated events of the year: complete with music, lights, and media coverage!
Students’ work goes beyond the classroom
ESDI students regularly participate in international competitions, exhibitions, and design fairs, including Barcelona Design Week and other design events. You might even find ESDI projects featured in museums, galleries, or brand collaborations!
