ADMISSION PROCESS

The admissions process for ESDI’s Master’s and Postgraduate programs values ​​your background, goals, and professional potential. We will support you every step of the way so you can advance your career with specialized, personalized training tailored to your future in the creative sector.

Access to Official Master’s Degrees

Access to Official Master’s Degree programmes is governed by current regulations on official university education, in particular Royal Decree 822/2021 of 28 September, which establishes the organisation of university education and quality assurance procedures, as well as Organic Law 2/2023 of 22 March on the University System (LOSU), and the academic regulations of Ramon Llull University. In accordance with Article 18 of Royal Decree 822/2021, the following applicants may access official Master’s Degree programmes:

Assessment Criteria

To be admitted to the programme, candidates must obtain a minimum score of 60 points across all selection criteria. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available places, admission will be granted based on the ranking of scores obtained during the evaluation process. Candidate selection will be carried out through the combined assessment of the following criteria:

  • Academic record: 35 points
  • Professional experience or academic background related to the field of the Master’s programme: 20 points
  • Suitability of the candidate’s profile in relation to the programme objectives: 20 points
  • Academic or professional letters of recommendation: 10 points
  • Certified level of English (minimum B2 recommended): 5 points
  • Motivation letter: 5 points
  • Personal interview: 5 points

The admission process will be carried out in accordance with the procedures established by Universitat Ramon Llull and consists of the following stages:

Requirements for National Students

You can access ESDI Master’s and Postgraduate programmes through the following pathways:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: official requirement for access to the Official Master’s Degree in Digital Art Curatorship.
  • Non-official university degrees equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Higher Vocational Training (CFGS): applicants accessing non-official master’s and postgraduate programmes through a CFGS may obtain a University Extension Diploma.
  • Other: please consult admission pathways with the Admissions team.

Requirements for International Students

International students must have their previous qualification officially recognised (homologated) and legalised:

  • To enrol in ESDI Master’s and Postgraduate programmes, you must have your prior qualification homologated within the Spanish education system.
  • You may enrol while the homologation process is underway, even if it has not yet been completed.

Admission Documents

To complete your application, you must submit the basic documentation that allows us to understand your academic and professional profile. These documents help us assess your application in a rigorous and personalised way, and ensure that the programme aligns with your educational goals.

Confirmation of Place

Once you pass the admissions test, you will receive your official Admission Letter, which confirms your acceptance into the Master’s or Postgraduate program of your choice. From that moment on, you can formalize your place reservation to secure your spot in the program.

The process is simple: just send proof of the transfer along with a copy of your ID. Our admissions team will guide you through this final step and answer any questions to ensure your registration is complete.
