The Advanced Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Pattern Making and Fashion at ESDI prepares you to work in the fashion industry through practical training in pattern making, sewing, and prototyping, to learn how to transform ideas into real garments.

Curriculum
The Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in Pattern Making and Fashion has a total duration of 2,000 hours, which include both training at the educational center and in the company where the curricular internships are carried out. These hours are distributed across 14 modules and their corresponding training units, to be completed over two academic years.

It introduces quality and prevention systems into the industry, along with the implementation of sustainability measures.

It analyzes the evolution of clothing, the organization of fashion, and trend detection.

It studies the properties, treatments and applications of the main textile materials, hides and leathers

It develops cutting, sewing, finishing and quality control processes for textile and leather goods.

It explains the workflows, machinery, and production times in the textile, footwear, and leather goods manufacturing industries.

ORGANIZATION OF PRODUCTION IN INDUSTRIAL CLOTHING MANUFACTURING
It addresses the planning, procurement, logistics, and control of production in workshops and factories.

It defines design criteria and evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of the products

It teaches how to create prototypes, verify patterns, and evaluate quality before production.
