3D ANIMATION
The Advanced Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in 3D Animation, Games, and Interactive Environments at ESDI opens the doors to the world of film, video games, and audiovisual media. This is a practical and creative program where you’ll learn to bring digital characters, settings, and experiences to life.
INTRODUCTION
In this programme, you will learn to create 2D and 3D animations, design video games and develop multi-device interactive environments. You will work with the main tools used in the sector and acquire a versatile profile, capable of working across different areas of the digital industry.
The training is complemented by real projects and internships in companies from the audiovisual and video game sectors. Thanks to ESDI’s methodology, you will be prepared to turn your creativity into impactful interactive projects with strong professional prospects.

Compulsory curricular internships and the opportunity for extracurricular internships in companies within the audiovisual or digital sectors
Curriculum
The Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in 3D Animation, Games, and Interactive Environments lasts a total of 2,000 hours, which include both classroom instruction and on-the-job training at the company where the curricular internships take place. These hours are distributed across 14 modules and their corresponding training units, to be completed over two academic years.

AUDIOVISUAL ASSEMBLY AND POST-PRODUCTION.
You will learn to edit, assemble and apply effects to audiovisual products, guaranteeing technical and narrative quality.

2D AND 3D AUDIOVISUAL ANIMATION PROJECTS.
You will define, plan and manage two- and three-dimensional animation projects, from the initial idea through to the final result.

DESIGN, DRAWING AND MODELING FOR ANIMATION.
You will design and model 2D and 3D characters, settings and objects, and create rigs to bring them to life in animation projects.

ANIMATION OF 2D AND 3D ELEMENTS.
You will create animations using drawing techniques, character setup, motion capture, and visual effects.

COLOR, LIGHTING AND 2D AND 3D FINISHES.
You will apply textures, materials, lighting, and finishes to achieve the final visual look of the animations.

GAME PROJECTS AND INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENTS.
You will plan and document interactive multimedia projects, defining objectives, graphic style, and technical requirements.

DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA PROJECTS.
You will build interfaces, integrate multimedia elements and program interactivity in digital projects.

DEVELOPMENT OF MULTI-DEVICE INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENTS AND VIDEO GAMES.
You will program and launch applications and video games for different devices and platforms.

PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH.
You will acquire skills in English applied to the professional field and to communication in audiovisual projects.

DIGITALISATION APPLIED TO THE PRODUCTION SYSTEM.
You will learn to integrate sustainability, circular economy and social responsibility criteria into projects.

PERSONAL ITINERARY FOR EMPLOYABILITY I.
You will develop basic professional skills and occupational risk prevention skills to support your entry into the labour market.

PERSONAL ITINERARY FOR EMPLOYABILITY II.
You will improve your employability through entrepreneurship and innovation strategies, as well as social and emotional skills.

INTERMODULAR PROJECT IN 3D ANIMATION, GAMES AND INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENTS.
You will apply all the knowledge acquired in an integrated way by developing a complete project.

OPTIONAL MODULE: RIGGING.
The optional Rigging module trains students in the creation of skeletons and control systems to bring characters and 3D elements to life.

OPTIONAL MODULE: AI IN 3D PRODUCTIONS.
The AI in 3D Productions module trains students in the understanding and workflows of this new and disruptive technology in 3D productions, while equipping them with the technical and aesthetic judgement needed to work with it.
