Salomon x ESDI: Workshop with Illustrator Asic Percales

salomon x esdi

On Wednesday 19th September, some students from the school had the opportunity to participate in an exclusive workshop organised by Salomon, led by Asic Percales, a Granada-based illustrator known for his influence across various aesthetics such as tattoo art, circus, religious iconography, popular culture, advertising, and comic books. His work is characterised by the presence of grotesque elements, which give him significant relevance in the world of illustration.

The event, held at a coworking space in Barcelona with an urban and industrial aesthetic, was organised by Salomon, an internationally recognised brand for its quality in outdoor and mountain footwear. Currently, Salomon is expanding its presence into the world of street style, and this workshop is a testament to its commitment to innovation and urban aesthetics.

The workshop consisted of a practical class on creating stickers with an urban style. The students presented highly creative proposals, inspired by both the Salomon brand and the Barcelona milieu. Additionally, Salomon gifted the participants a pair of their “Speedcross” sneakers. The event, which began at 6pm, also featured a DJ performance and a selection of snacks to liven up the evening and make it even more special.

At ESDI, we love providing these opportunities for our students and are firmly committed to working closely with real-world companies. We would like to extend our thanks to Salomon for this collaborative initiative with our school.
