ESDI alumni Ona Torras Beltran has been awarded the Code 41 Talent Award at SIMA’41 – International Fashion Week in Andalusia 2025, thanks to her collection KÓSMOS, a proposal that stands out for its conceptual strength, contemporary vision, and deep connection with human values.
The 24th edition of SIMA’41 has reaffirmed its position as a national and international benchmark in the sector, consolidating Seville and all of Andalusia as a territory of creation, talent, and global projection. An event that has successfully combined creativity, innovation, and business, transforming the region into a true global showcase for fashion, craftsmanship, and new trends.
In this context, the Code 41 Talent contest —the most influential platform for young designers in Spain and the second in Europe— has established itself as a true engine of emerging talent. A springboard for international projection offering visibility, training, and real opportunities within the industry, which in this edition recognized KÓSMOS as one of the standout proposals for its vision, coherence, and innovation.
Originally presented in September 2023, KÓSMOS was born from research on existentialism and the search for answers to understand intangible concepts such as destiny and human connection. Through fashion, Ona Torras explores the relationship between ways of living and encounters along the way, creating a narrative that transcends the purely aesthetic.
The collection focuses on garment durability and the sense of belonging as part of identity.
In this way, it advocates for conscious, versatile, and timeless fashion using neutral and sustainable materials. KÓSMOS aims to unite individuals beyond dressing similarly, fostering connection, recognition, and dialogue with others.
This recognition comes in an edition of SIMA’41 marked by sustainability, technology, and internationalization, coinciding with the Andalusian Fashion Awards, which honor figures, companies, and institutions driving the industry and shaping its future.
