ESDI’s creative talent has once again been recognized at the ADG Laus Awards, the most prestigious awards for graphic design and visual communication in Spain. Four projects developed by students from our school have been selected for this 55th edition, reaffirming ESDI’s role as a benchmark in the training of future design professionals.
Organized by the Graphic Design and Visual Communication Association (ADG-FAD), the Laus Awards annually recognize the excellence of the best projects in the sector. In the student category, they have established themselves as a key platform for highlighting and promoting emerging talent.
The selected ESDI works have been:
“Queridamente,” by Laura Mena
A publishing project that offers a self-awareness and personal growth journal for young people, based on guided activities. Through writing and creativity, “Dearly” brings mental health to a young audience in an accessible and effective way.

“Bond — Social Pet Assistance”, by Carla Bennassar
Visual identity for a hypothetical dog-assisted therapy center in London. The project focuses on an emotional, organic, and inclusive visual language that shies away from the clinical and promotes the connection between people and animals.

“La Náusea”, by Sandra Hernández
An editorial piece that invites the reader on an introspective journey through an identity crisis. The design, text, structure, and layout work together to express a deep and healing emotional process.

“I Congreso Nacional de Grafología Forense”, by Maria Rubio y Raquel Soldado
Graphic identity for a fictitious conference on forensic graphology. Inspired by the rigor and detailed analysis of the sector, the project translates the visual codes of this discipline into a coherent, understated, and professional graphic proposal.

The Nit ADG Laus: ceremony and celebration of design
The jury’s final verdict and the awards ceremony will be announced at La Nit ADG Laus 2024, the biggest night of graphic design to be held at the Disseny Hub Barcelona. During the ceremony, ADG-FAD will present trophies to the award-winning studios, agencies, and students, at an event that has become an essential meeting point for the creative community.
This year, the power of metal is also celebrated with the ADG Laus Metal Fest, an after-party with dinner, music, drinks, and good company, where design and celebration go hand in hand.
At ESDI, we celebrate this recognition as a demonstration of our students’ commitment to innovation, social awareness, and design excellence. Congratulations to all the authors and the teaching team for this achievement!
