EKOS, an ESDI x Naia™ Sustainable Fashion Show in Eastman

esdi x naia

On July 1, 2024, ESDI and Naia™ Eastman held their sustainable fashion event at the “French Alliance” (Alianza Francesa) in Sabadell, Barcelona. Our students presented their innovative designs using sustainable Naia™ Renew fibres, highlighting creativity and commitment to sustainability in fashion.

The Naia™ Renew fibre is an innovative fibre produced from 60% sustainable wood pulp and 40% recycled waste material certified through mass balance accounting. We create value from waste and help brands to be more sustainable without compromising comfort, quality, or style.

During the event, which took place from 20:00 h to 22:00 h, the students participated in a fashion competition, showing the results of weeks of work. The parade, called EKOS, is a fashion collection made with sustainable fibres that starts from the concept of inner struggle. Is a testimony to human distress, emotional and spiritual purgatory, and the incessant search for clarity and peace. Through this collection, the designers have captured the complexity of existence, inviting them to open their minds and hearts to a new order of beauty and harmony based on emotional balance.
