COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course focuses on applying design methodology through briefs provided by the faculty, simulating real-world professional work environments. The goal is for students to develop the ability to approach increasingly complex design projects, integrating contextual analysis , informed decision-making, technical and conceptual planning, as well as criteria of sustainability, usability, and social responsibility.
The course also requires the cross-curricular application of content acquired in other subjects, promoting an integrated understanding of the design process.
LEARNING OUTCOMES

Determine the relevant existing conditions in a project.

Analyze the collected data to justify decision-making based on the results obtained.

Presents ideas, problems or design proposals orally and visually using language, resources and codes specific to the profession to both specialized and non-specialized audiences

Communicate the resolution and phases of a project proposal, relying on the resources specific to the design specialty, to the different agents involved in its execution (clients, suppliers and manufacturers).

Demonstrate collaborative work skills and leadership in both teams made up of diverse areas of knowledge and in multidisciplinary teams.
