SUMMER COURSE

STYLING AND RECYCLED FASHION

Do you love fashion and want to create your own looks? In the Summer Course: Styling, Creativity, and Upcycled Fashion, you’ll redesign a garment using upcycling techniques, starting with images and trend boards. You’ll come up with a look just like professional stylists do and create fashion editorials to showcase your project on social media.

Introduction

The Summer Course in Styling, Creativity, and Upcycled Fashion is a hands-on experience that lets you discover the inner workings of the fashion industry: ideas, style, creativity, and plenty of experimentation. You’ll learn to draw inspiration from trends, create mood boards with collage, embellish garments with decorative techniques, and design your own look from scratch, with the guidance of the ESDI teaching team.

You’ll also discover the world of upcycling (recycling clothes to give them a second life) and how to transform an old garment into something entirely new and personal. Finally, you’ll prepare a presentation and a styling and photography session to showcase your project like a fashion content creator on social media.
