COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Final Degree Project (TFG) constitutes the closing of the student’s training process and represents their first independent professional exercise as a designer.

This project puts into practice all the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired throughout the studies, allowing the demonstration of the capacity to analyze, conceptualize, formalize and communicate a design proposal in a rigorous, creative and well-reasoned manner.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Evaluate the existing conditions in the project with your own criteria in order to focus the proposal appropriately.
  • Justify the decisions made based on the analysis of the information processed and/or the validation of the tests performed.
  • Choosing the appropriate materials, techniques, production processes and sustainability criteria for the production of the project proposal.
  • Use problem-solving, planning, and communication tools and techniques effectively in carrying out the project.
  • Innovate in creative or technical solutions in the formalization of the project.
  • Present the problem statement, the ideas that initiate the solution, and the design proposal orally and visually using the language, resources, and codes specific to the specialty.
  • Communicate clearly the resolution and phases of the project using the resources specific to the specialty.
  • Demonstrate autonomy in the design of projects that allow progress towards advanced training.
