We’re once again collaborating with Embassat, the independent festival in Vallès, with a textile design proposal that connects culture, creativity, and territory.
At ESDI (the School of Design, a center affiliated with Ramon Llull University), we’re once again collaborating with Embassa’t, the independent music festival in Vallès, which will take place from May 15 to 18 at Parc Catalunya in Sabadell. We’re the festival’s longest-standing partner, and year after year, we strengthen our shared commitment to good design, culture, and the city’s emerging talent.
For the 2025 edition, we have designed two key elements of the festival:
A T-shirt with its own identity
This edition’s T-shirt is an oversized, short-sleeved white piece made from 100% cotton, weighing 359g. With dropped shoulders and sleeves that reach mid-arm, it offers a comfortable silhouette and a relaxed style, designed to fit the spirit of the festival. It can be found both in the online store and on the DICE ticketing platform, where it is listed as a collaboration with ESDI. All pieces also feature a neck tag with our logo.
Vests that tell a story
The festival staff vests are a hybrid concept between a life jacket—as seen in Sabadell’s La Bassa—and festival safety vests. The result is a black piece with reflective strips, a mesh pocket, and details made in our industrial and printing workshops: textile patches and methacrylate elements. We also applied a label with our logo to the back.
An interdisciplinary and collaborative project
This project was a collaborative effort between the ESDI Fashion and Communications departments, with the collaboration of Pol Solsona, creative director of Embassat, a professor and alumnus of graphic design at our school. This combination of perspectives allows us to continue working from what we are: a school where design is experienced with a critical, creative perspective, rooted in the cultural reality that surrounds us.
Embassa’t also at our ESDI FEST
The collaboration doesn’t end with the design. On April 2nd, as part of our ESDI FEST, we had the pleasure of having Embassa’t participate in the official launch of the festival. During the day, we enjoyed concerts by Bert Bert and DJ Tofu (also an alumna of ours), and presentations by Flashy Ice Cream and Laia Argelaguet.
Exclusive discounts for the ESDI community
To close the loop, we have jointly activated a special discount code for our entire community with Embassa’t, making the festival experience even more accessible for students, faculty, and alumni.
