ESDI organizes “PULSIÓN”: The 2nd Fashion Show

On June 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., the BMC Business Center will host the parade of projects carried out by the 2nd year students of the Degree in Design with a Fashion mention.

This event, titled “Pulsión”, presents a trend proposed by ESDI Color Lab for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. This concept is inspired by the search to escape the current “permacrisis”, where the fear of losing social ties drives us to become modern, flexible nomads in constant search of multisensory, although ephemeral, experiences. The underlying idea is a continuous transformation of our ideology, rejecting stigmatizing social hierarchies and challenging us to constantly renew our expectations.

ESDI students have interpreted this trend and have created garments that reflect this contemporary “drive.” The designers participating in the show are Paula Doy, Aina Llonch, Judit Serra, Maria José Alfonso, Aroa Lemos, Erika Muntada, Cristina Gontán, Ruth Sallès, Martina Alonso, Alexandra Fontanals, Carla Carrillo, Ana Vares, Júlia Ruano, Laia Pascual, Nicolas León, Daniel Ruiz, Alberto Mora, Maria Millan, Gisela Mateu, Adriana Jurado, Ivet Peiron, Juana Coelho, Queralt Escayola, Rubén Carreto, Carlota Izquierdo and Alejandro Relucio.

The event has the collaboration of important entities in the sector, such as BMC, Pronovias, Sole Cester, Utexta, Qmonas and Digital Print, who have supported the students in the realization of their projects.
