The new area brings together master’s and postgraduate programmes specialising in design, fashion, art and technology to promote professional development and lifelong learning.

New technological tools, the transformation of creative processes, and the evolving needs of businesses are changing the way design work is done. To support professionals and organisations in this context, ESDI is launching Advanced Education, a new area dedicated to specialisation, knowledge updates, and lifelong learning.

Its creation marks a new phase for the school, focused on strengthening the connection between education, research, talent, and industry. With a team of professionals specialising in programme development and educational innovation, ESDI Advanced Education is expanding its educational offerings to meet the needs of those seeking to deepen their expertise, acquire new skills, or redirect their career path.

Training to advance in a changing professional environment

Organisations need professionals who can combine specialised knowledge with a cross-disciplinary perspective, collaborate with teams from different disciplines, and lead change processes. At the same time, these professionals require learning environments that allow them to experiment, update their skills, and develop sound judgment for decision-making.

ESDI Advanced Education responds to these needs with an offering that connects design practice, critical thinking, and the application of new technologies. This approach expands the school’s reach beyond initial training and reinforces its role as a partner in professional development at various stages.

New master’s and postgraduate programmes in emerging fields

ESDI Advanced Education offers eight master’s and four postgraduate programmes in design, fashion, art, and technology. The offerings cover bespoke tailoring, dressmaking, and the industrial digitalisation of fashion; creative leadership and project management; product and space design for health and wellness; retail and visual management; art direction and content creation; and generative art, immersive experiences, motion design, and graphic and audiovisual production using artificial intelligence.

These programmes are aimed at professionals and creative individuals seeking to deepen their expertise or expand their scope of activity. The training allows participants to develop new technical skills, incorporate new tools and work methodologies, and strengthen their own judgment to tackle more complex projects.

A closer connection with businesses

The relationship with industry is one of the pillars of ESDI Advanced Education. Through ESDI Business Lab, the school promotes customised training for companies, adapted to their learning needs and the challenges of their teams.

This approach has already begun to be developed with companies and strengthens the exchange between the educational and professional sectors. Design, creativity, and technology thus become tools for addressing innovation and transformation processes based on the needs of each organisation.

The new Advanced Education area also incorporates customised programmes for international audiences, which expand avenues for collaboration and bring ESDI’s training experience closer to participants from different countries.

A new stage for ESDI

ESDI Advanced Education works in conjunction with ESDI Academic & Research, the area that focuses on formal university education and research. Both are part of a shared project: connecting knowledge, talent, technology, and business to address current challenges and anticipate new opportunities.

With this launch, ESDI reinforces its commitment to training that evolves alongside people and organisations, and expands its mission as a Talent Factory.
