This agreement will allow the development of projects within the framework of University-Business collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The first project resulting from this alliance, developed together with AITEX and Hilaturas Jes\u00fas Rubio, focuses on the design of acoustic absorption panels. These panels are made from the wool of Ripoll sheep, a species native to the Catalan Pyrenees. With only 5,000 specimens, its wool stands out for its ideal properties for sound absorption.<br \/>\nThis project is committed to sustainable local development. Its objective is to reuse the wool, currently considered waste, and transform it into a marketable by-product. There, they learned about the origin of the raw material and explored its potential in the design of interior spaces.
