Product Design

Learn how to design furniture, lighting and appliances, how to use sustainable materials, and how to model and 3D print. In four years you will be able to conceptualise, design and prototype a product, and create and communicate your own brand or design studio.

The Official Undergraduate Degree in Design has a four-year structure. The first two are made up of core subjects and basic training, where students develop work and tasks from the syllabus.

Specialized subjects start to be delivered in the third year, which help to deepen the theoretical knowledge and specific practices of each track.

Final Project Degree. Specialty in Product "Assault" by Pol López.

At ESDi, we encourage our students to travel through our exchange programs with international universities who are leaders in the different disciplines of design. We have more than 50 agreements with various institutions across Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe, including some universities specialized in product design such as: Lahti University of Applied Sciences (Finland) or Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands).

We put our trust in mobility programs, both for students and (teaching) staff, as a way to exchange resources, knowledge and methodologies that will enrich and complete the international experience of studying design at ESDi.

Final Degree

The Final Project is the last educational task to evaluate the knowledge that students have acquired during the course of their studies. It's a project that should make use of skills in planning, conceptual thinking and production. The work is carried out individually, with the help of a tutor. Each specialization has its own specific regulations.
