Marc Fernández, architect graduated in the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Vallés in 2003 (UPC). He completed a postgraduate degree in “Project Management” in 2006 and another one on Accessibility and Functional Adaptation of Housing in 2013, at the Sert School (COAC).
He joined Architects Without Borders, association in which he was part from 2003 to 2013.
He is currently a member of the Red Cross and Sostre Cívic, a cooperative that promotes an alternative model to housing.
In his experience in architecture studies include BAMMP (1998-2001) and Badia Arquitectos (2009-2015).
He worked in public administration as manager of residential projects in the Municipal Housing Society of Terrassa S.A. (2005-2007).
Participated in international projects to improve urban space with development banks (UNDP and IDB), when he was part of the Badia Arquitectos team.
He founded in 2013 ARQUETICA- Architecture and Accessibility Services, specialized study in architecture for elderly or disabled people.
Currently, he directs ARQUETICA and is a professor of Design and Adaptability, in the Degree of Interior Design in the Escola Superior de Disseny (ESDi – Universitat Ramon Llull).
