Marta Jou and Lidia Rosa present their FDPs at Blanc Festival

Graduates in Graphic Design Marta Jou and Lidia Rosa have presented their Final Degree Projects at the Blanc Campus of the Blanc Festival. The Campus Blanc, held on October 21 in virtual format, is the section of the Blanc Festival dedicated to final degree projects, where students from different design schools and universities exhibit their work.

Marta Jou has presented “Vinos de Altura”, a proposal to adapt and improve the graphic system and communication with the consumer for the winery Casa Auvinyà, working with the website, social networks, catalog, packaging and wine label. For the development of the identity, a logo was developed to denote tradition and history through its organic shapes based on the tendrils and shoots of the vine. The corporate colors focus on the Andorran environment and its noble materials, such as wood, slate and metal. Their shapes, textures and reliefs reveal the narrative of their life over time.

The labels transmit the altitude, latitude and longitude of its orography, based on the elevation lines and legends as the main visual elements. The catalog presents the winery, technical data, tasting notes and awards won by its wines.

The packaging embossed with the village of Auvinyà has a universal use, suitable for all wines that are marketed. The box slides open a flower, whose flaps protect the bottle from movement and shocks. The website and Instagram have been developed so that the user can find all the information they need and at the same time can purchase their products from the online store.

Lidia Rosa, on the other hand, presented “WEYU”, a community in the form of an App formed by K-Pop Idols and experts on the mental disorders caused by the standards and high expectations generated by the South Korean entertainment industry.

The Weyu App is an intermediate between a social network and a messaging application, dedicated to solve doubts and share situations related to mental disorders. Users can browse through different chat rooms in which an expert in mental illness always participates to give advice and answer people’s questions. The profiles of artists interact and share moments in which they have suffered situations related to the topics, helping and serving as an escape route for many people who do not talk to anyone about their situation due to the fear of social rejection, thus preventing cases of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc. In many cases, even suicide.

In addition, Weyu gives the option of being an anonymous profile, so it supports all those people who do not want to expose themselves directly, but who want to receive help unconditionally.
