We’re launching the Merit Scholarship Contest 22-23!

FUNDIT Fundació del Disseny Tèxtil (owner of ESDi Higher School of Design,  registered office in C/Marquès de Comillas 81-83, 08202 Sabadell, Barcelona) wants to award with a Merit Scholarship future designers with an outstanding academic career that are interested in starting to study the Undergraduate Degree in Design or the double degree in Design + Bachelor en Smart Design. The scholarship covers up to 80% of the tuition fees. The Merit Scholarship Contest is held with the aim of finding the student who has the best combination of both talent and potential success, and guarantees to be an emerging talent in the field of design.

Contestants that aim to win the Merit Scholarship Contest must send their application via email to admissions@esdi.edu.es starting from April 30th, 2022, 9:00 a.m., up to June 30th, 2022, 11:59 p.m. (Madrid time). The winner of the contest, and therefore of the Merit Scholarship, will be announced on July 15th, 2022 through the website esdi.es and ESDi’s social media. The ESDi Admissions Department will personally notify the winner of the Merit Scholarship Contest through their usual line/channel of communication.

Together with the application, participants must submit a project related to “Social design to promote the ethics of responsibility for the preservation of life on earth”. Candidates must submit a graphic (.pdf) or audiovisual document (.mp4 file) providing a solution that can transform societies and improve people’s well-being. Projects that promote the improvement of the living conditions of communities, social activism, and alternative ways of consuming or using products, systems or services. The document must contain a written explanation (or narrated in the case of an audiovisual file) of the project, as well as images, drawings or illustrations that have to be represented either in a graphic or an audiovisual form.
