Javier Guijarro presents his first collection, ‘Debut(i)’, on the EGO catwalk.
Guijarro, a graduate of the Escuela Superior de Diseño ESDi, is continuing his career as a fashion designer with the “Debut(i)” project. At just 23 years of age, fashion designer Javier Guijarro has already achieved important milestones. Last year he collaborated on projects with artists such as Karol G, Bad Gyal and Rauw Alejandro. Now he is preparing a new proposal that will mark his debut as a brand on the Allianz EGO runway.
This first collection by Javier Guijarro, “Debut(i)”, is a proposal that explores the identity codes of a brand that is gradually being built. In addition, the designer revisits different ideas and styles of the classic masculine character to give them a new twist and bring them closer to an attitude much closer to his generation. The work with fabrics, elements and typical garments that have always been part of a man’s wardrobe, now focused on new silhouettes and atmospheres, stands out.
In this 22nd edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Talent Madrid, Javier Guijarro is one of the young designers who will present his collection. The event will be held at IFEMA from Thursday 14 to Sunday 19 September. MBFWMadrid, with the support of Allianz EGO, will host the Sunday day dedicated to new talents. Once again, the platform confirms its role as a benchmark in the fashion industry by supporting emerging creators and talents. A total of 9 designers will be the protagonists of this event, which will close the catwalk with the presentation of their collections.
The day begins on Sunday 17 September with the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion Award and ends with the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award. The winning brand of this 22nd edition will walk the international catwalk of Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week.
