28 Sep International Students get to know Barcelona with ESDi
In an activity organized by the International Department of ESDi, the school’s international students participated in a two day tour through interesting spots in downtown Barcelona, with emphasis in El Raval and El Gòtic neighborhoods.
The gathering, oriented towards conjugating knowledge about design and architecture spots with key entertainment places and with the company of other ESDi locals, started at the Portal De l’Àngel street, in order to later continue in the photomontage “El Petó”, from the photographer Joan Fontcuberta, in the Isidre Nonell square.
After that, the tour continued in the Barcelona Cathedral, where the students had a chance to enjoy the details and the structure of the gothic style building. As a point of contrast, the day concluded with a visit to the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.
During the second day, the students toured around the maritime passageway and were invited to try some of the typical Spanish tapas.
A perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the area and, meanwhile, bond with the new colleagues.
