Open Day

During the Open Day, to be held on Saturday 7 April, attendees and their families will be able to participate in an information session, a visit to the centre and a series of workshops:

  • What’s behind fashion? (11.30-14.00)

Hand in hand with Miquel Malaspina, coordinator and stylist of MODA-FAD and ESDi teacher, attendees can discover how to use clothing as a tool to promote the transmission of messages.

  • Hands on Arduino (11.30-14.00)

For those who are passionate about intelligent design, ESDi’s Smart Objects professor, Víctor Barberán, will introduce them to the design of interactive and responsive products, with programming and electronics through the Arduino platform.

  • Video Mapping for Designers (11.30-12.30)

Exploring new surfaces on which to project images is the key to mapping, a technique that allows us to develop audiovisual shows that interact with the space and the public. Teachers ESDi Marianna de Nadal and Carlos Anselmo will experiment with shapes and volumes on the school’s TV set.

  • Enjoy photography. Architecture and city (11.30-14.00)

Captured in an image, buildings can reveal new facets by interacting with the colors, lighting and composition of the photographic technique. Those interested in this workshop will be able to learn how to take interior and exterior architectural photos with architect and photographer Leonardo Fernández.
